Keeping your skin soft and moisturized with lotion containing shea butter and vitamin e can also help prevent scarring. Some scars may not completely dissapperar but they can fade with time. Mederma for scars works, but for large scars, plastic surgery (usually elective) won%26#039;t be covered by insureance unless it incapacitates the affected body part from functioning properly, if you feel that is nessecary, consult your regular doctor/physician first about options.
