What can I do to get rid of my scars and smoothen my skin?

I%26#039;ve dealt with very severe horrible acne and I%26#039;m only fifteen. At first I thought it was keratosis pilaris since there small and spread evenly throughout. There actually small scars/keloids so they%26#039;re too small to be injected. Is there anything I can do to get rid of them or smooth them out?|||As you know, I answered your previous similar question with the suggestion that the best result is likely to come with a 50/50 mix of DMSO and potassium iodine rubbed into the keloid at least twice a day in combination with taking several digestive enzyme capsules two to three times daily on an empty stomach.

Other suggestions for getting rid of scars and smoothing the skin are:

Vitamin K. Apply Vitamin K cream topically to scars (this vitamin is not normally taken orally except through a physician). Depending on the severity of your scars, skin type and activity levels, you will see results in as little as 8-14 days to 6-8 weeks when used twice daily. Major food sources for Vitamin K include green leafy vegetables, such as spinach, green cabbage, kale, Swiss chard, turnip greens, broccoli, tomatoes, liver and lean meats and dairy products.

Lavender Essential Oil. Putting Lavender Essential Oil directly on scars will help them fade. Newer injuries will also heal faster with the application of this oil.

Coffee bean grounds, regular hand lotion. Grind coffee into a powder substance and mix it with any regular hand lotion. Rub into scars for about 60 seconds and wipe off the coffee grounds with a warm moist towel. Do this about twice a day if possible. You should see noticeable results in about two weeks.

Flaxseed oil is a great way to fade scars . You can buy it at any health food store. Also great for new scars, helps to heal them faster and the scar will not be as noticeable. Rub the flaxseed oil on old scars after you shower and once more before going to bed. On new scars, rub in a few times a day.

Virgin, unrefined hempseed oil. Use once or twice a day and you should see improvement and fading within a few weeks.

Olive Oil. Apply Olive oil (100% extra virgin) to scars at least twice a day. Within a week you should start to see scars starting to fade.

Vitamin E. Buy vitamin E in gel caps and take a needle and poke a hole in a few of them. Squeeze the liquid out and rub it on your scars.|||Hi Sweetie,

I have heard that a few different natural products can help reduce scarring and improve the skin tone and texture. Jojoba Oil, Virgin Coconut Oil, Vitamin E, Cocoa Butter and Rosa Mosqueta Oil.

At the moment i am using Jojoba Oil as it is a wax ester rather than an oil and very similar to the skin%26#039;s natural oil (sebum) so it gets absorbs deeply and easily. It makes the skin very supple and smooth and reduces pimples. Jojoba Oil is high in Vitamin E, but you can also buy Vitamin E oil and apply it just the same way.

My daughter is using Pure Coconut Oil which also helps smooth out the skin and leaves it glowing and it also seems to be preventing further break-outs.

I used Cocoa Butter years ago, but i cannot remember much about it, It is a butter and therefore thicker on the skin than any of the above oils, so maybe it will not be absorbed so easily. I hear women use it for stretch marks and it is a very good skin moisturiser.

I have not yet tried Rose Mosqueta Oil but it is claimed to be good for scarring. All these are good moisturisers and are claimed to be good for reducing scarring. As your scars are fairly recent, you should find any of these would work well for you

Best of luck :-)|||I had really bad acne in high school. I started using skin care products by Origins and I%26#039;ve seen a significant improvement. They have stuff there called Modern Friction, which is a scrub with lemon in it, which helps to lighten up the scarring, and also something that%26#039;s sort of the same called Modern Fusion, which is a serum that does the same thing. Good luck! :)|||luckily these days if u just go to a drug store u can find acne scar cream. u may have to use it for a month or two depending on how old the scars are but it works very well. just go to the store and buy a few of the products and see how they work with ur skin. as long as they are not too drying or have a side effect they should work fine.|||bio oil maybe ask the chemist
