What is the best way to reduce scars from years ago?

When I was younger I was always a tomboy and ran around getting cuts all over my legs. They would bleed, and I would pick the scabs of, with caused scaring. That was 3 years ago and th scars on my legs still won%26#039;t go away. Now I%26#039;d like to have nice legs, which I do, accept for the ugly white scars on them.
